    Why is Menthol Used?


    This medication is used to relieve minor muscle/joint pain (such as arthritis, backache, and sprains).

    Do Not Use Menthol If:


    You are allergic to any of the other ingredients in this medication.

    Warnings and Precautions:



         
    • Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to menthol or have any other allergies.

      •    
    • This product may contain inactive ingredients that could cause allergic reactions or other issues. For more details, speak with your pharmacist.

      •    
    • Before using this medication, inform your doctor or pharmacist about your medical history.

      •    
    • Before undergoing surgery, inform your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription, non-prescription medications, and herbal products).

    Possible Side Effects:



         
    • Stop using the product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience throat tightness, swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, feel faint, or have difficulty breathing.

      •    
    • Discontinue use if you develop hives or itching on the face or body.

    Other Medications and Menthol:


    This medication may alter the way your other medications work or increase the risk of serious side effects. Keep a list of all the products you use (including prescription/non-prescription medications and herbal products) and share it with your doctor and pharmacist. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medication without your doctor's approval.

    How to Use Menthol:



         
    • This medication is for skin use only. Apply it to the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times a day.

      •    
    • If using this medication for hands, avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. If the medication gets into these areas, rinse with plenty of water.

      •    
    • Do not use it on damaged or irritated skin (such as cuts, scrapes, sunburned, or infected skin).

      •    
    • Do not bandage or tightly wrap the affected area, as this may increase the risk of side effects. You may cover the area loosely to protect clothing.

    How to Store Menthol:


    Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom.
