    Hydralyte Effervescent Tablets help to quickly restore hydration and electrolyte balance. The zesty orange flavor adds a tasty twist to rehydration. Suitable for: Adults Babies & Children Pregnant Women Elderly About Dehydration: Mild to moderate dehydration is defined as the loss of 2–6% of your body weight through fluids. 75% of people are dehydrated every day from losing water and electrolytes through sweat, saliva, urine, and other bodily functions. Water doesn’t contain electrolytes, which is why dehydration is so common. How ORS Works: ORS contains specific amounts of glucose and electrolytes. These components maximize fluid absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. The gastrointestinal tract relies on sodium-glucose cotransporters (SGLTs), which are carrier proteins in the intestinal cells. Cotransporters help move substances across membranes. Directions for Use: Fill a cup with 200mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For babies under 6 months, use freshly boiled and cooled water. Empty contents of one sachet into the 200mL of water and stir until the Hydralyte powder has dissolved. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist. Discard unused solution after 2 hours or within 24 hours if refrigerated. Do not mix Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft, or sports drinks. Ingredients: Glucose, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Citrate, Natural Orange Flavor, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sucralose, Color (if applicable).
