    Product Description:

      • Supportive treatment of degenerative or 'wear and tear' joint conditions eg: osteoarthritis.
    • Glucosamine is a component of tissues, tendons, ligaments and cartilage and is important for smooth joint movement. Growing evidence suggests that glucosamine (the amino sugar glucose) plays a supporting role alongside omega-3 in maintaining healthy joints and relieving pain in degenerative joint conditions.
    • Collagen is a natural protein that provides strength, elasticity, and supports connective tissue in ligaments, tendons, bones, and other parts of the body.

    Directions for use:

    •  Take one cod liver oil capsule, one fish oil capsule and one glucosamine tablet daily with a cold drink. The glucosamine tablet may be split in half for easy swallowing (if desired).

    Warnings and Precautions 

    • Do not exceed the recommended amount.
    • If you are allergic to the active ingredients or to any of the excipients. Or if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor.
    • The product should be used with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to fish and/or shellfish.
    • There is some evidence that fish oil supplements may have adverse effects on asthma patients who are sensitive to aspirin. These should be monitored appropriately.
    • Patients with hepatic impairment should be monitored, especially if receiving high doses.
    • Here are some side effects that may occur with this medicine:
    • Gastrointestinal complaints such as fatigue, bad breath, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
    • Skin reactions such as rash, acne, eczema, itching and hives.
    • Patients with hypertriglyceridemia may have mild increases in liver transaminases.
    • Close monitoring is recommended in patients with bleeding disorders who are receiving anticoagulant therapy or other drugs that affect clotting.
    • Store in a cool, dry place, below 25°C.
    • Keep out of reach and sight of children.
    • Do not use JointCare Max after the expiry date, which is stated on the carton.
