    Hydralyte Effervescent Tablets – Lemon Lime Flavor Hydralyte Effervescent Tablets are formulated to provide efficient rehydration and restore essential electrolytes lost through dehydration. The refreshing lemon-lime flavor makes staying hydrated both effective and enjoyable. Suitable For: Adults Babies & Children Pregnant Women Elderly Understanding Dehydration Mild to moderate dehydration is defined as the loss of 2–6% of your body weight through fluids. 75% of people experience daily dehydration from losing water and electrolytes through sweat, saliva, urine, and other bodily processes. Water alone does not contain electrolytes, which is why dehydration is common. How ORS Works ORS contains specific amounts of glucose and electrolytes that optimize fluid absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. The GI tract depends on sodium-glucose cotransporters (SGLTs), which are carrier proteins in the intestinal cells. These cotransporters facilitate the movement of fluids and electrolytes across cell membranes, ensuring faster and more efficient hydration. Directions for Use Fill a cup with 200 mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For babies under 6 months, use freshly boiled and cooled water. Empty the contents of one sachet into the cup and stir until completely dissolved. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist. Discard unused solution after 2 hours (or after 24 hours if refrigerated). Do not mix Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft drinks, or sports drinks.
